Housing Systems, Inc. was contracted by Behan Brothers Inc. to perform the carpentry work (rough framing) for the Carnegie Abbey Golf House. The Golfhouse is approximately 70,000 +/- square feet, and is located within the private waterfront Carnegie Abbey golf course in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Housing Systems, Inc. has a pre-fabrication shop located in its main office, located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This was instrumental in creating the panels for the Carnegie Abbey Golf Course (see pictures 1 & 2). Housing Systems, Inc. pre-fabricated the panels at the shop, while working as a team with the architect and construction manager, to minimize change orders and keep the fast track job on schedule.

Housing Systems, Inc. carpentry phase began in December of 2001 and is expected to conclude by the end of May 2002 with the frim approval of the construction manager.
