Housing Systems, Inc. coordinated with Claude Neon, the marquee supplier, and Dexter Sign Co. who were going to erect the sign. It was decided that the erection was to take place at night due to the fact that the Performing Arts Center is in the heart of the capital city and would be easier to perform the work at that time.

The erection took most of the night, but with a concentrated effort on behalf of everyone involved, the project was completed and the PPAC kicked off it's fall season with their new Marquee.
